Services we provide
Types of care:
What you can expect from us:
- Personal care - This includes tasks such as helping you with getting in and out of bed, washing, dressing and assisting you with meals and medication.
- Domestic tasks - This includes tasks such as vacuuming, laundry and other light housework to keep things in order.
- Respite - This is to give someone who looks after you a break from their main duties. For instance, if a family member, who is identified as your main carer, would like to take a holiday.
- Social support - This includes accompanying someone for shopping, to the park, to appointments or providing emotional support.
- Night care - This is for people who need more support and need to be monitored at night.
- Live-in care - For people who need care around the clock, especially if they live alone and need a greater amount of support.
What you can expect from us:
- We are very selective during our recruitment process to ensure that we employ a team of hard working, passionate, and caring individuals.
- All our staff undergo extensive training and have enhanced criminal record checks carried out.
- All the care is provided in the comfort of your own home by highly skilled carers.
- Your carers will maintain professionalism in their communication and quality of care while preserving your dignity and maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality.
- Your individual wishes will always be respected, and you will be kept informed about what is happening every step of the way.
- We will always put your welfare and health and safety first.
- Your carers will work in line with your care plan to ensure that you are getting exactly what you need.
- We understand that people's lives vary from day to day, so we will endeavour to fulfil requests that are even outside the care plan, as long as they are practical and safe.
- Your visits will always be met on time, and we will always keep you informed about any changes.
How it works
Initial assessment:
We will arrange a meeting with you and your family to conduct an assessment of need to identify how we can help you. This includes what you can do to maintain your independence, and how we can support you with the tasks that you cannot do. Using this information along with an internal and external risk assessment, we will draw up a personalised care plan which outlines what we will do to support you in your daily life. If you already have a package of care in place, this can easily be transferred over to us. Otherwise, we can approach your social worker to see if you qualify for full or part funding towards your care. If approved, you will not have to worry about a thing. We will deal with all of the paperwork and you will not be required to pay a fee for this. If you do not qualify for funding, or if a contribution is required, we can provide you with a quote for our services on a private basis.
Service commencement:
We will issue you with a folder which contains all your rights, the standards you can expect from us, and any other relevant information about your care, including a copy of your care plan. Each week in advance, a schedule will be placed in this folder so that you will know who is coming for each visit. You will be introduced to your assigned carers that you will get to know, and you will have regular carers who will attend to all your needs. You can always get in touch with us, day or night if you have any queries or concerns. We will always be available to assist you, our phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your carers will also provide us with regular updates regarding your general well-being and safety, this will help to ensure that you are receiving the right level of support, and that any further improvements needed can be made.
Reviews and Quality Assurance:
After the first week, we will review your care to see how things are going and to see if you have become well acquainted with your carers. After another couple of weeks (or sooner if necessary), we will receive feedback from the carers and make any necessary adjustments to ensure your optimal comfort. Every six months, we will carry out a formal review to see if anything can be done to make you more comfortable. We always welcome feedback to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care possible to all of our people. In between that, we will carry out observations to ensure that your carers are doing what they should be. We will always be at the other end of the line whenever you need us.
